Jennevy + Cipriano

After ten years together, Jennevy and Cipriano celebrated their nuptials at the tropical, eclectic and colorful Valentine in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles! I am so excited about this one, you guys. It’s a wedding like no other and a couple that radiates happiness and joy - what more could you want?!

“We wanted our wedding to be fun and immersive. Since we've been together for a decade, each of our wedding guests has played an important role in our story, so we wanted to celebrate them as much as our marriage.” -from the bride, Jennevy

And let me say… you rocked that vision!

I had the pleasure of designing their escort card display, menus, welcome sign and bar menu and MAN WERE THESE FUN!! Holy crap, it was like so much fun designing for this beautiful wedding! They were all about color, geometric shapes and using different mediums for their pieces, so we used a mix of paper (of course), acrylic and vinyl to make these come to life. The escort card display was a 12’ tall teal, magnetic wall. I had all different sized shapes cut and then I painted the backs of some of them in the colors they wanted to use. Then, I cut each escort card to the same shape and alphabetically arranged them within the laser cut shapes. It was a shape-ception and it was awesome. Each name was written in hot pink and I can’t tell you enough how much I love it.

The menus were die-cut to a diamond shape and printed in white foil. And if you’re able to read it….. delish. And speaking of delish, go look at the cake below too. Freaking STELLAR. Also delish, the bar menu! This was white acrylic cut in a hexagon shape with pink vinyl. So much fun and I wish I had somewhere to put another one cause it’s rad. The welcome sign was also white acrylic with pink vinyl and some mirror gold geometric shapes on the corners. Also so rad.

Green Apple Event Co. and Lavenders Flowers absolutely killed it with this one and they totally created a funky yet elegant, immersive, fun and incredible wedding for this special couple. I had so much fun on this project and I hope you enjoy looking at the beautiful images by Mallory Dawn Photography!
