Julia + Emmanuel

Julia and Emmanuel are so beyond awesome! I love how they wanted to bring in some culture and vibrant accents into their wedding day. Their palette was full of warm colors with different shades of pinks, reds and oranges with some terra cotta, rust, peach, and mustard accents. You’ll take notice of the careful color intentions in the lush tropical florals and details!

This vibrant couple tied the knot at Casa Romantica in San Clemente. If you’ve never checked out this venue it is overlooking the ocean and pier and it is such a stunning view. I can’t rave enough about their talented planner, Amy of All in the Detail Design, who beautifully designed and perfectly executed this gorgeous day. Bloom of Time did an incredible job and really focused on the details in the floral design. You guys, she even incorporated some fruits to make it more tropical!

We designed and created their custom invitations, menus, place cards, welcome sign, bar menu, seating chart display, and snazzy cocktail napkins. Their wedding invitations were charcoal and mustard letterpress with peach envelopes and a fun, tropical envelope liner. We just love how the beautiful impression on the letterpress and the venue sketch came out on their double thick paper. It’s just the coolest effect and it never ceases to impress! This fun couple added pops of their main color, “watermelon” with their reply card envelopes + wax seal to tie all the colors in.

Can we give it up for Creative Amme who beautifully etched my calligraphy designs into the wood welcome sign and bar menu?! The bar menu was adhered to white acrylic for a rad 3D effect. The table numbers and place cards were also etched wood on half moon shapes and table numbers had some white acrylic as well. Their place cards had a paint stroke to represent the different meal indicators with peach being the fish, a rust red for steak and white for vegetarian. It’s always fun to change up the meal indicators with something a little more creative and Amy is always full of great ideas!

The menus are digital white ink printing on that same “watermelon” colored paper. It brought a pop of her favorite color from her color palette and really stood out on the table. I love that the colors from the florals meshed perfectly with the brightness of the menu and the natural, rustic texture of the place cards and table numbers. Everything was softened by the specialty yellow glassware which was the absolute perfect addition!

Their seating chart was a beautiful display of the paint-stroked table assignments printed on cardstock and placed onto the wooden room separating apparatus with a watermelon-colored laser cut title of “dine then dance” . It was the perfect blend of funky, classy and tropical for that statement piece of the cocktail hour!
