Branding 101

Welcome to Branding 101!
I'm here to work with you on creating a perfect logo that sets the theme and re-charges your business to get those ideal clients coming to you! We're starting with this form (your homework assignment) for you to take a step back and think about your vision. 

I want you to think about:
What do you want to see when you go to your website and social media pages?
What's the first word you want to pop into your client's head when they visit those pages?
Who are three inspirations for your branding?

Now take some time and fill out this form - I know it's long, but I'll send it back to you so you'll always have these roots of your goals!

Why should potential clients go with you and not someone else?
The definition of a mission statement is, "a formal summary of the aims and values of a company, organization, or individual." In plain terms - what are you giving to your customers?? Coca Cola's mission statement is: "To refresh the world in mind, body and spirit. To inspire moments of optimism and happiness through our brands and actions." IKEA's is: "At IKEA our vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people.” So you get the idea! Create yours, even a few! I just want to hear it from your heart!
Who are you and who are your customers?? This is where you want to figure out what your niche is and give yourself a unique positioning statement. IKEA's is "Our business idea supports this vision by offering a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them."
Try to step into the eyes of a client - they've never seen your page before. What are the first impressions? If you don't have a site or social media yet, skip this!
Examples: "simple", "clean", "refreshing", "colorful", "playful", "fun", "fine art", etc.
Can even give a story or profile! Don't forget demographic information too!
